Breastfeeding Workgroup

Audience: The purpose of the breastfeeding work group is to assist breastfeeding coordinators and peer counselor managers in their management responsibilities. Oftentimes, peer counselor management issues (hiring, training, scope of practice, etc.) are discussed. It is preferred that peer counselors do not attend the work group to allow managers to problem-solve in a safe space. If a breastfeeding coordinator and/or peer counselor manager are unable to attend and want a peer counselor to attend in their place, please email Dionne Moore-Smith at MooreSmithD@michigan.gov for an exception to this guidance.
