Advanced CPA Training

The Advanced CPA training has been completely revamped to accommodate the new virtual training environment. We spend the morning discussing concepts that support advancing the practices of a CPA to focus on changing health outcomes in the family with the ultimate goal of creating healthier communities. Continuity of care, assessment, training new staff and working specifically to meet Michigan WIC’s 5 year plan for improving health outcomes will be the topics covered. The morning is highly interactive, relying on your inputs to drive the training.

In the afternoon we use a live MI-WIC session to apply the concepts from the morning. Using test clients and scenarios and using your client-centered skills, you will have the opportunity to guide your trainer in creating documentation that captures your assessment of the client and will assure continuity of care is possible.

In order to fully participate and receive credit for the training, you will need to log in with a computer or phone that has both audio and video capabilities.
