This interactive workshop guides Competent Professional Authorities (CPAs) and Registered Dietitians (RDs) step-by-step through the nutrition education and high risk counseling session

CPA Training

This training will provide an overview of the Competent Professional Authority (CPA) role in performing WIC services including risk assessment, food package assignment, nutrition and breastfeeding education, and referrals.

Laboratory Training

Laboratory Training

This hands-on, skill-intensive training will instruct participants on proper capillary sampling for hemoglobin and lead testing utilizing one finger stick.

To provide training to local WIC agencies on conducting their Annual Review of their clinics and preparing for their bi-annual Management Evaluation.

This training will provide new local WIC agency Breastfeeding Coordinators with the necessary information, skills, and administrative tools to train their local WIC staff on how to effectively and efficiently provide information on breast pumps and hand expression of milk to WIC participants.
