The purpose of the Coordinator Summit is to provide local WIC coordinators and leaders with the opportunity to network, discuss effective strategies, develop process improvements, and share best practices and resources with one another statewide.

2025 WIC Coordinator Summit Agenda

New State and Local Agency information and materials will be provided and discussed at the Michigan WIC Coordinator Summit. Therefore, attendance is expected for the local agency WIC Coordinator and their Senior WIC leadership.

Continuing education opportunities will be available for Nursing and Registered Dietitian.

  • Identify the latest information on state policies and practices.
  • Discuss techniques for motivational leadership into everyday practices and inspire more productive employees.
  • Identify information and skills to help leaders develop a better life/work balance in their staff, providing a more productive employee.
  • Describe the importance of maintaining the retention of WIC clients and how this can effect WIC budgets.
