The purpose of the Coordinator Summit is to provide local WIC coordinators and leaders with the opportunity to network, discuss effective strategies, develop process improvements, and share best practices and resources with one another statewide.

2026 WIC Coordinator Summit Agenda

New State and Local Agency information and materials will be provided and discussed at the Michigan WIC Coordinator Summit. Therefore, attendance is expected for the local agency WIC Coordinator and their Senior WIC leadership.

Continuing education opportunities will be available for Nursing and Registered Dietitian.

  • Stay current on evolving state policies and operational practices to support accurate decision making.
  • Discuss techniques for incorporating motivational leadership into everyday practices to inspire more productive employees.
  • Highlight WIC program promotion, retention and outreach activities and their impact on the budget.
  • Enhance cross-agency collaboration, networking, and professional relationships by connecting local coordinators, State staff, and summit participants through dedicated engagement activities.
